Cold Callers

Hi,

Yesterday South Down Neighbourhood Officers responded to a report of cold callers in the Newcastle area.

A short time late the individuals and their vehicle were located.

One male was arrested for various motoring offences and after extensive enquiries the other 2 males were let carry on their way.  The vehicle was seized.

Our thanks to the member of the public who reported the suspicious activity.

If someone cold calls at your property offering to do work please thoroughly check their credentials prior to agreeing to let them carry out any work.
