Neighbourhood Officer PC 2030 recently joined Belgrave councillors and a Leicester City Council Community Safety Officer for a joint partnership patch walk around the local area 🚶♂️🏘️ Partnership patch walks provide local agencies with an opportunity to visit different parts of the neighbourhood, identify issues affecting residents 🔍 and consider how those concerns can be addressed through coordinated action. During the walk, the team was able to assess the local environment and discuss matters that may be affecting the community. Working together allows the police, councillors and council officers to share information, identify appropriate solutions and ensure concerns are directed to the relevant service 🤝 Patch walks also provide an important opportunity to speak directly with residents 💬 Face-to-face conversations help local partners better understand the issues that matter most to the community and allow residents to share their experiences, raise concerns and ask questions.
