𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗬𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗬𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲

Every year the Government asks us to ask the public how safe they feel so they can assess whether national work to tackle serious violence is being effective. While York and North Yorkshire are generally a safe place to live, violence still affects our communities. If you can, please take this opportunity to feed into the national snapshot of public safety.

Last year's survey found that 76% of respondents across York and North Yorkshire felt safe in their local area. Every response to this year's survey will help us to do more to keep people safe in our region.

The survey is confidential, easy to complete and open until Sunday 27 September 2026
