CRIME UPDATE IN YOUR AREA – GWENDOLIN AVENUE, BIRSTALL (Crime Reference: 26000487657)

YOU ARE RECEIVING THIS MESSAGE AS YOU LIVE WITHIN THE AREA OF A RECENT ASSAULT

We have received a report of an Assault, that has occurred between 23:30 on the 14th of August 2026 and 00:15 on the 15th of August 2026 in the vicinity of GWENDOLIN AVENUE / WANLIP AVENUE in BIRSTALL.

There has been 1 victim and upwards of 8 other individuals involved.

Did you see or hear anything during these times, or do you have any information that could help us identify the offender/s? 

Do you have any CCTV or camera doorbells that may have captured them entering or exiting the vicinity? If yes, please can you check your footage and make contact if there is anything you feel may help the investigation. 

An investigation is being conducted and all immediate/relevant residents & businesses will be visited by police, however if you are not visited and have information or footage, please let us know as it may just be the piece of information, we are waiting for that leads to the identification/prosecution of the offender/s and will keep our community safer.
