🚨 Community Awareness Message | Kingsthorne 🚨

The Local Policing Team would like to make residents aware of a suspicious incident reported in Kingsthorne between 13/08/2026 and 15/08/2026.

A resident reported that flowers which had been discarded in their garden were later found placed in the latch of the gated entrance to their property. Whilst no offences have been reported, the circumstances were unusual and have understandably caused concern.

🌻 Have you noticed anything similar? 👀 Did you see any suspicious individuals or vehicles in the area during this period? 📹 Do you have CCTV, doorbell footage, or any information that may help build a picture of activity in the area?

We are encouraging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour.

🏡 Home Security Advice

✅ Keep gates, sheds and outbuildings secure at all times. ✅ Ensure doors and windows are locked, even when you are at home. ✅ Consider installing or regularly checking CCTV and video doorbells. ✅ Use security lighting around entrances and vulnerable areas. ✅ Keep valuable items out of sight from windows and gardens. ✅ If away from home, ask a trusted neighbour to keep an eye on your property. ✅ Report any suspicious activity promptly.
