Reports of anti-social driving result in vehicle seizure |
||
|
Dear Resident, Yesterday, police received reports of a vehicle being driven in an anti-social manner on Regents Park Road, causing alarm to members of the public. An unmarked police car was despatched to the area and officers subsequently observed driving that was consistent with the reports received. After stopping the vehicle, officers exercised their powers under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002 and seized it. The vehicle will remain impounded until proof of ownership and valid insurance is provided, together with the required recovery and storage fees. If someone is driving a motor vehicle, they should always be doing so in a safe and considerate manner.
