Updates for the Normacot, Lightwood area this week.

Hope you all have had a great week. 

Its been a very busy but productive few days for us at Staffordshire Police. 

19/08/2026 Staffordshire police attended an incident in the Dresden area where there was an incident involving 2 vehicles and following the incident that occurred a vehicle was seized for having no insurance. 

20/08/2026, Staffordshire police speed camera van was on Lightwood Road, doing high visibility and ensuring drivers were driving safely in the area. 

20/08/2026 Staffordshire Police attended Cocknage road area due to reports of driver of a vehicle drink driving and taking drugs. Upon arrival of Staffordshire Police they searched the vehicle and found a large qunainty of nitrous oxide and done checks on the driver. Following this the driver was arrested and the vehicles was seized.
