We would like to welcome all our new members who signed up to WMNow at the Station Open Day, didn’t we have a fabulous time?

It’s always lovely to meet our residents, but to invite you inside the Police Station to meet our teams, look at the variety of vehicles and try on Police kit is a special day. The sirens didn’t stop but neither did the smiles 😊

This set of shifts Chelmsley Officers & PCSO’s supported West Midlands Fire Service as they tackled the fires across the Force area and in particularly holding the cordon around the Stourbridge incident. Our thoughts are with the Stourbridge community and all those affected.

Crime Updates for Chelmsley Wood & Fordbridge areas

Burglary

1 burglary to report in Chelmsley Wood when an opportunist found an open rear door. Please remain vigilant and review your home security — consider alarms, CCTV, and good lighting.

Vehicle Crime

5 vehicles have been stolen across the two areas.

Number plates have been removed from 2 vehicle.

An attempt to remove a tentbox resulted in damage to roof bars. Key-less entry theft remains a concern. Please use Faraday pouches, remove visible items, and consider physical deterrents like steering wheel locks.

On Saturday 29th August the Chelmsley Wood PCSO’s will be at the front of Chelmsley Police Station from 15:00x16:00hrs with Anti-theft Screws for number plates. We encourage you to come along and secure your plates. We will provide you with the screws but cannot physically change them for you. Due to these being anti-theft screws we do not recommend for use on personal plates.

Cuppa with a Coppa – Tuesday 13th October at Three Trees Community Center, Hedingham Grove B37 7TP 18:00x19:30hrs.

At these engagements we will have Crime Prevention leaflets and goodies.
