MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUG DRIVING

On Thursday 13th August at around 21:40 officers stopped a blue Mini Cooper in Faringdon, Glascote Heath. There was a smell of cannabis coming from the vehicle and a roadside drugs test was conducted on the driver who tested positive.

The 18-year-old male driver, from Grendon, was arrested for drug driving. He has since been released under investigation.

Checks revealed that the vehicle was being driven without valid insurance so the driver was dealt with accordingly for documents offences and the vehicle seized.

A 21-year-old male, from Glascote, who was also in the vehicle was also arrested for failure to appear at court for unrelated offences.
