GUY STREET PARK SE1 ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR |
||
|
YOU SAID There is an encampment in GUY STREET PARK SE1 involving drug use, drinking, noise and rowdy behaviour and feels unsafe.
WE DID PCSO DURRANT attended the park and handed the owner of the encampment an ASB warning and explained that this behaviour is unacceptable and at the same time offering them any support to services however refused. Advised to not carry on Anti-Social Behaviour.
PCSO DURRANT made requests to the Southwark Parks Team to serve the encampment an eviction notice due to the impact it was having on the locality.
The team after receieving more complaints went back down and officers carried out 5 stop and searches and PCSO DURRANT handed the owner of the encampment a Community Protection Warning which is now saying you have continued your anti-social behaviour and now we are getting to a stage where if you don't stop then we will look to serve you conditions if you continue. Told also that it would be best to tidy up and leave location which the owner of the encampment agreed.
The encampment is now gone and our partners from Streetlink and the Council have been made aware and also so future engagements they can attempt to offer them the help they need but take further action if they rather continue causing impact to the area.
Please continue to inform London Bridge and West Berrmondsey of any anti-social behaviour and though things may take a bit of time we will always do our best to get the best outcomes for everyone.
