Joint Action Improves Local Environment |

Roundwood Community UpdatesResidents may have noticed a significant improvement at the corner of Church End, High Road Willesden and Dudden Hill Lane following a joint operation involving the Roundwood Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) and Brent Council. Working together, officers and council teams successfully addressed concerns relating to rough sleeping in the area and removed a substantial amount of rubbish that had accumulated at the location. The clean-up has helped improve the appearance of the area and address concerns raised by local residents and businesses. In addition, tents that had been established along Church Road have now been successfully cleared due to the hard work and dedication of SNT officers working alongside Brent Council. This collaborative effort forms part of ongoing work to ensure public spaces remain safe, clean, and accessible for everyone in the community. The Roundwood SNT would like to thank Brent Council and partner agencies for their continued support in addressing these issues. We also appreciate residents who report concerns and help us identify matters affecting the local area. To ensure that the improvements are maintained, Roundwood SNT will continue to carry out regular reassurance patrols at both locations. These patrols aim to provide visible policing, reassure residents and businesses, and help prevent any further escalation of the situation. Officers will continue to work closely with Brent Council and local partners to monitor the area and respond proactively to any emerging concerns. The Roundwood Safer Neighbourhood Team remains committed to improving the quality of life for those who live, work, and visit the area. If you have concerns in your neighbourhood, please continue to report them to your local Safer Neighbourhood Team. Together, we can help keep Roundwood a safe and welcoming place for all.
