Local Priorities Driving offences / Speeding

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Driving offences, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

PCSO Croft and the Camera Enforcement Team recently met with members of Dymock Parish Council to discuss local road safety concerns and review speed data provided by Auto Speed Watch.

The meeting provided an opportunity to identify problem areas in the village and explore measures to improve road safety for the community by use of the Speed Van or hand held devices.

These open discussion allowed the parish and police to share ideas and formulate a working plan, with a view to start in September at varying times and days of the week, to encourage safer driving, reduce collisions, and help keep communities across Dymock and Newent safe.
