Rogue traders may knock on your door claiming you need urgent repairs, offering discounted driveways using “leftover materials”, or promoting tree and hedge cutting services.

✅ Use trusted, recommended tradespeople.
✅ Check ID before letting anyone into your home.
✅ Remember: for work costing over £42, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period.
