Tackling e-scooters in your community |

Tackling e-scooters in your communityFour e‑scooters and one illegal motorised bike seized, totalling more than £2,000, and all heading for the crusher. PCC John Campion regularly hears from communities about illegal e‑scooters and off‑road bikes causing anti‑social behaviour in local areas. That’s why DPCC Marc Bayliss joined a police operation led by Wyre Forest Police officers, with action taking place in both Kidderminster and Stourport. As there are no legal schemes in place in West Mercia, e-scooters can only be ridden on private land with the permission of the land-owner. This is a clear reminder: if they’re used on public land, the police will take action. | ||
