E-Scooters seizure

Dear residents,

I just wanted to let you know about our recent patrols in and Spondon, regarding e-scooters. We've had two seized yesterday on the alley way between South Avenue and Sitwell Street. Both riders were seen riding at excessive speeds, and on the pavements. Both e-scooters were stopped and both of them were seized. In total since we've began our crackdown on e-scooters, we've had five seized from the area. All of them were being ridden in an anti-social manner, and most were seen riding on the roads in and out of oncoming traffic.

Rest assured we will not be stopping there. We have plans in place to target more areas where e-scooters are a big problem for the community.
