High visibility patrol in the town centre update

Good afternoon all,

Following high visibility patrols in the town centre, your local neighbourhood policing team received intel which they were able to immediately act on, which lead to a subject being stop and searched, and further intelligence being recorded.

Officers also followed up on anti-social behaviour in the town centre where large groups of people were gathering in high footfall locations drinking alcohol. The whole of Calderdale is subject to a Public Space Protection Order which prohibits having an open vessel of alcohol in a public place.
