Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property: ELLESMERE PORT EAST WhitbyWoodland Road – 4/8 – Unknown offender, having climbed onto the roof of the ground floor extension accessed property via the bathroom window. Keys takenStrawberryYeoman Way – 11/8 – Report of an unknown male trying the door handle of the front door. Witnessed the male running off and getting into a black car. Reported someone had tried the door handle the previous night also. Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises: ELLESMERE PORT EAST Ellesmere Port TownStanney Mill Road - Two reports received relating to same property:- Between 31/5 and 4/8 – Fence line of property damaged to access site. 5 windows to premises of property damaged but no access gained into the building. Locks snapped on an outbuilding that contained the boiler and entry gained, but nothing taken.
- 5/8 – Repaired fencing re-damaged and a further 2 windows smashed.

ELLESMERE PORT EAST Ellesmere Port TownRichmond Court – Two separate reports received which resulted in the arrest of a female:- 24/7 – At some point over the course of the week graffiti has been daubed over the front door to the property, shed and gas cupboard.
- 27/7 – Female offender set light to front door.
Flint Court – 26/7 – Whilst away from the property for several days an unknown person has put superglue into the door lock.Stokesay Court – 28/7 – Kitchen window smashed.Coliseum Way – 2/8 – 2 youths have gone behind the curtain screen within the cinema causing it to tear.Kinsey Road – 2/8 – Bus stop damaged.RossmoreSlackswood Close – 24/7 – Pane of conservatory glass smashed by a stone thrown by a group of passing teens. – Youths identified and dealt with by community resolution.ELLESMERE PORT WEST Little Neston & BurtonNewtown – Damage caused to glass in front door, possibly by a pellet as a glass found to have shattered on outer pane around a small hole.NestonRingway – 20/7 – Upper floor bedroom window and dining room window smashed. Male, dressed in black see riding away on an electric scooter.Ledsham & ManorThorne Drive – 6/8 – Rear bathroom window smashed, possibly by a pellet as small hole left.Willaston & ThorntonDamhead Lane – 1/8 – During the early hours of the morning and unknown offender has set fire to the boundary fencing of a property from the public footpath to the rear. This has caused resulted in damage to 5 fencing panels and the fascias and guttering of the garage. Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

A black Eskute electric bike has been taken.RossmoreTees Court – 10/8 – Access gained into rear garden via an insecure gate at some point during the week. A pushchair has been taken.ELLESMERE PORT WEST St. PaulsOld Chester Road – 23/7 - Unknown offenders attended Whetstone Hey Home and attempted to collect used cooking oil from the location using fake ID. Confronted by staff and left in a black vehicle.Sutton Merton Road – 23/7 – Wheelie bin taken.Appleton Road – 23/7 – Apollo mountain bike taken from outside building whist Sea Cadets in session. – Bike located a short time later with damage caused to the brake cables. ELLESMERE PORT EAST WhitbyEddisbury Road – 5/8 – Insecure VW Tiguan entered by an unknown male. Nothing taken. Witnessed trying other car door handles in the area.Palm Grove – 6/8 – During the overnight period an unknown offender has tried the door handle of a vehicle (no further details). No entry gained.RossmoreWestminster Grove – 26/7 – Front registration plate, showing GL62 NDN taken from a Ford Focus during the overnight period.Meadow Lane – 31/7 – Front registration plate, showing BD07 HUB taken from a Ford Puma at some point during the week.Rother Drive – 4/8 – Access was gained to the boot of a Ford Focus, which was parked at the roadside, by unknown means. A saddle and bridle were stolen.ELLESMERE PORT WEST Ledsham & Manor29/7 - Number of vehicles broken into during overnight period:- Foxall Way – Insecure Ford Focus entered. Bag containing shin pads taken from centre console.
- Ridgway Close – Skoda Enyaq, parked on residential driveway entered and purse and contents taken.
- Foxall Way – Audi TT entered. Messy search carried out but nothing believed to have been taken.
- Foxall Way – Insecure BMW entered. Nothing believed to have been taken.
Thorne Drive – 9/8 - VW T-Cross – entered. Search around interior completed. Spare change and mints taken.Willaston & ThorntonChester Road – 9/8 – During the weekend period four alloy wheels were removed and taken from a Ford Focus which had been parked in the rear compound of a car sales garage. On Sunday evening 2 unknown males were disturbed whilst in the process of removing a catalytic convertor from a BMW with an angle grinder before they have run off.St. PaulsEccleston Avenue – 22/7 – Twin Axle Ifor Williams trailer with large ramp, parked at the roadside taken. – Male arrested.Sutton Fenwick Road – 23/7 – Hyundai Tucson entered by unknown means. Untidy search carried out and wallet taken.Capenhurst Lane – 25/7 – Entry gained into a Renault Koleos. Wallet taken. – Male arrested.5/8 – Several vehicles broken into during the overnight period:- Randle Meadow – Mercedes found with door ajar. Wallet left on passenger and nothing taken.
- Websters Lane – Entry gained into an Audi. Sunglasses, change and wallet taken.
- Websters Lane – Entry gained into a Dacia. Search made within but nothing reported to have been taken.
- Websters Lane – VW T-Roc entered. Search made within but nothing reported taken.
Church Lane – 7/8 – BMW X5 entered by unknown means and vehicle found with door left ajar. 2 pairs of sunglasses. Pair of glasses and loose change taken.9/8 – Several vehicles broken into during the overnight period:- Ascot Drive - Audi A2 found with car door ajar.
- Ascot Drive - Loose change taken. A further 2 x residents reported an unknown person has tried the door handles of their vehicles (no further details). No entry gained.
- Spinney Drive – 2 x residents reported an unknown person offender has tried the door handles of their vehicles (no further details). No entry gained.
- Talbot Avenue – Unknown male tired door handles of a BMW X2 but no entry gained.

ELLESMERE PORT EAST Ellesmere Port TownStanney Mill Road – 6/8 – 2 teens witnessed smashing the window of a Honda Civic which had been parked up by the roadside.RossmoreM53 (Jct. 8) – 19/7 – Whilst being driven along M53 a rock, thrown from the overpass hit a Mitsubishi Outlander causing the windscreen to shatter.Swale Road – 1/8 – All four panels of the MG were found to have been scratched with a sharp implement. The damage may have occurred elsewhere but was discovered during the morning.ELLESMERE PORT WEST Willaston & ThorntonHooton Lane – 26/7 – 4 windows on tractor smashed with a hammer by unknown offender/s. The window of a caravan also smashed.Buckley Court – 1/8 – The full length of the passenger side of a Vauxhall Grandland was scratched with a sharp implement during the overnight period.NetherpoolChildwall Road – 24/7 - A Citroën C3, parked at the roadside, was struck by a delivery vehicle which failed to stop. This resulted in damage along the length of the driver's side, including denting and paint transfer/removal.North Road – 9/8 – A Land Rover Defender, which had been parked for several weeks at Vauxhall Supply Park, was set alight and destroyed by fire.Fulwood Road – 9/8 – Rear of vehicle (no further details) sprayed with yellow paint.St. PaulsKings Road – 26/7 – Ford Fiesta scratched along the length of the near side with a sharp implement, leaving deep scratches.GrangeRegent Street – 9/8 - Kia Sportage hit by golf ball which has dented the side of the vehicle. ELLESMERE PORT EAST WhitbyWhitby Park – 24/7 – Robbery - Juvenile male victim was riding his bicycle through a park when he was approached by a juvenile male suspect. The suspect grabbed the victim by the arm and pulled him from the bike, causing him to fall and suffer wrist pain. The suspect then stole the bicycle and rode away.
