Dear Resident,

The current spell of hot and dry weather has significantly increased the risk of grass and open-space fires across the area.

We ask all residents to act responsibly when using fireworks and other items capable of causing ignition. Even a small spark can result in a fire spreading rapidly and putting people, property, and emergency services at risk.

Please ensure fireworks are used lawfully, responsibly, and away from dry vegetation and other combustible materials.

Anyone witnessing dangerous behaviour involving fireworks or deliberate fire-setting should report it to police via 101, or 999 in an emergency.
