Beckenham Fire Station Open Day

Today, the West Wickham and Hayes local police teams supported an open day held at the Beckenham Fire station. 

The public were invited to enjoy and engage with the London Fire Brigade, Metropolitan Police Service and the London Ambulance Service. There were also representatives from the army, stalls full of games, and even the Bromley Mayor turned up to meet and greet attendees.

The event was very well attended, with all the families enjoying their interactions with all the emergency services present, be it sitting in our police car or jumping up into the fire truck. Some even learnt CPR and lifesaving skills.
