🐴 Horse Riders on Public Roads: Please Stay Visible 🦺

As road users, we all have a responsibility to help keep ourselves and others safe. Recently, I've noticed a number of horse riders using public highways without wearing high-visibility clothing.

While it may not always be a legal requirement, high-vis vests and equipment can make a huge difference, especially on rural roads, around blind bends, during poor weather, or in low light conditions. Giving drivers more time to see horses can help prevent potentially serious collisions and protect both rider and animal.

Let's all do our part to improve road safety. Whether you're driving, cycling, riding a horse, or walking, being seen could save a life.
