DRUG DEALER JAILED |
||
|
A drug dealer has been jailed after officers found cocaine in a car in Tamworth. Juli Gjuzi, 34, from Cumnock, Ayrshire, Scotland, was sentenced to two-years-and-eight months in prison at Stafford Crown Court on Wednesday 5 August after admitting possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (cocaine), being concerned in the supply of cocaine and acquiring / using / possessing criminal property. It comes after officers from our major and organised crime proactive team stopped a car in Belgrave on 13 April this year. Gjuzi was in the driver’s seat of a white Mini Cooper with no-one else inside. An iPhone and £166 in cash were seized from him. When officers searched the car, they found £25 in cash in the centre console, three bags of cocaine under the front passenger seat and two further bags attached to the driver’s side door frame. Gjuzi was arrested and the vehicle was seized. Through Operation Target we have been working hard to identify, disrupt and pursue criminals who plan, organise and commit serious criminal offences across the county, including drug supply, illegal firearms, knife crime, human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
