Once again, along GOWER ROAD , vehicles are parking inconsiderately.

Over the weekend, we received many calls relating to obstructions.  most of these were in and around the RAILWAY INN, where an event was being held.

Vehicles were parked along the newly appointed double yellow lines, making the bend very tight and dangerous for drivers and pedestrians.  As a force, we cannot act on double yellow lines, as this is local authority, however wardens will be out ticketing cars that are parked along these lines.  Further along, cars were all parked up on the pavement, forcing pedestrians onto the road.  Warning notices have been given to these drivers.

We really want you to enjoy local events, but please be mindful of others and park responsibly.

I'm sure you all received the Government warning this evening regarding BBQ use and lighting fires.  Again, we want you to enjoy your summer safely, so please heed the advice given to help ease the pressure of emergency services.

We are actively patrolling parks in Sketty, Dunvant and Killay after reports of Anti Social Behaviour.  We want our children to enjoy in the playgrounds, so please ensure your children are respectful to equipment and to other children.  also, ensure they are home at an acceptable time, so not a noise issue to residents.
