Community Notice: All Points East Festival 2026 - Victoria Park

 Dear Residents,

We would like to make local residents aware that the All Points East Festival will be taking place in Victoria Park across the weekends of 21 August and 28 August, including the Bank Holiday Monday.

As a result of the event, there will be road closures, increased visitor numbers and higher levels of traffic and congestion in and around the local area. Residents are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time for travel during these periods.

We recognise that large-scale events can sometimes lead to incidents of anti-social behaviour (ASB). The Metropolitan Police are working closely with enforcement officers from Hackney Council and Tower Hamlets Council to prevent and address any issues that may arise. There will be an increased law enforcement presence throughout the event period.

Additional measures include:

A dedicated telephone number will be available for residents to report ASB or event-related concerns directly to the event control room. Details of this number can be found on the attachment letter.

In the lead-up to the festival, residents will also have opportunities to attend community meetings with the event organisers. These sessions have been arranged specifically to allow residents to raise concerns, ask questions and receive updates about the event and associated mitigation measures.

Inspector Mohammed Uddin has been appointed as the dedicated Bronze Commander for Community during the event period and will be working closely with partners and residents to identify, address and resolve any issues that arise.

On Tuesday 18th August at 6.30pm Event organisers are hosting an online Community Information Session. They  will be talking about the event plans and give residents a chance to ask questions.
