Dear Resident,
Two homes in Huntingdon have been closed for three months due to concerns about anti-social behaviour linked to the properties.
The closure orders were granted by Peterborough Magistrates Court on Monday (10 August) following successful applications by the Huntingdon Neighbourhood Policing Team.
The orders, which are in place until 10 November, cover 4 St George's Court and Flat 16, Dallington Court, Trinity Place. | |
The property in St George's Court is closed to everyone, except the tenant, their family, approved contractors of Together Property Management and members of the emergency services.
The flat in Dallington Court is closed to everyone, except employees and contractors of Accent Housing and members of the emergency services.
Failure to comply with the orders is a criminal offence which could result in imprisonment for up to three months, a fine, or both.
The action came as a result of prolonged anti-social behaviour linked to the addresses.
We have received numerous complaints from local people about anti-social behaviour linked to the properties and we hope these closure orders give them some respite from the behaviour they have been experiencing.
Anyone with information about the order being breached should contact police online at www.cambs.police.uk/report.
Kind regards,
Tim Goddard Communications officer |
