Bournemouth North Neighbourhood Policing Team Bournemouth North Neighbourhood Policing Teams at Winton station have been busy over this very hot set of shifts, here is snapshot of what they have been up to. PCSO’s held a public meeting in Bearwood for residents who were concerned for a male living in their community. There has been ongoing work for this individual with partner agencies over a period of time and today he was taken into custody. The correct support will be found for him. A Community Contact Point was held outside Waitrose in Winton where PCSO Mike spoke to a number of people, collected five pieces of intelligence and Hannah administered first aid for a collapsed male. A visit to a vulnerable male who had been a victim of a robbery was made. A Public Protection Notice was submitted for partner agencies to decide the best course of help for him, and three further cuckooing checks were made by PCs to protect those vulnerable from exploitation and harm. PCSO’s have been carrying out hotspot foot patrols in Charminster, Winton, West Howe and Slades Farm as part of ongoing efforts to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour. An electric bike was stopped and the rider detained. There is now an ongoing investigation into traffic offences. Two partial property closures orders were enforced by PC’s and BCP Officers.NPT have assisted Bournemouth South colleagues and patrolling Bournemouth beach as part of Operation Show. During the patrol, two missing children were located. A Day of Action took place yesterday with PC's Ross and Ishy, tackling illegally ridden bikes in the West Howe, Kinson and Bearwood area.
