Appeal after boy bitten by dog in Borehamwood

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a child was bitten by a dog dangerously out of control in Borehamwood.

At around 6.40pm on Wednesday 1 July, it was reported that a two-year-old child was bitten by a German Shepherd in the park at the end of Grosvenor Road.

The owner was described as an elderly lady who walked with a limp and walking stick, and enquiries are ongoing to trace her. 

PC Joe Geeson, from the Elstree and Borehamwood Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, to please come forward as we continue to explore all lines of enquiry.
