Prevention Surgery; Vehicle Crime

Dear Resident

Officers from your local neighbourhood policing team will be holding a beat bus surgery on Thursday 13th August from 3pm until 5pm then again @ 7pm until 9pm we will be located on South street. 

We will be available to discuss any concerns you may have, we will also be continuing our policing Operation, Operation Vapour to look at reducing theft from motor vehicles. we will be delivering crime prevention letters and looking to talk to local residents on how they can try and prevent this type of crime in there area. 

Most theft from motor vehicles are avoidable by ensuring you do not leave any items on display and ensuring your vehicle is locked and secure. We can prevent this by not leaving items within your vehicle or on display this can reduce the risk of you being a victim of crime.

Northants police are dedicated to bringing offenders to justice, but it is with the help of the community that this is best achieved.
