MAN CHARGED WITH DRUG OFFENCES

A man has been charged after officers found a knife, mobile phone and cash in Cannock.

Philip Quinn, 41, of no fixed abode, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.

It comes after officers from our major and organised crime proactive team carried out a stop-and-search in Cannock yesterday (Tuesday 11 August).

Quinn is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Wednesday 12 August).
