Hello Sophie Further to my email dated 8th July 2026, copy below. If you still want to continue with this scheme please get in touch. If we don't hear from you by the end of August the application will be deleted from the OurWatch system. Hoping to hear from you. All the best Alasdair Alasdair Bavister MSA and Hon Treasurer Association of Dorset Watches (ADW)
Hello Sophie Well done setting up a new NW scheme. I'm an OurWatch Membership Support Administrator (MSA) for the Association of Dorset Watches (ADW) https://adw.watch/ Dorset Police have asked that new schemes are visited by an ADW MSA, to approve the scheme, following which Dorset Police will confirm the scheme. Please let me know when would be suitable for me to meet with you and some of your fellow Watch members. Best times for me are late afternoon / early evening or Sunday mornings. When we do meet, I can bring NW signs for roads within Willow Tree Rise Neighbourhood Watch. We can also provide NW window stickers if you and you neighbours want to have them. Have you asked your neighbours to sign up for Neighbourhood Watch so that they can join Willow Tree Rise Neighbourhood Watch.? They can do that by visiting https://www.ourwatch.org.uk/joinNW or Do you have / are you planning to set up a WhatsApp group for Willow Tree Rise Neighbourhood Watch? If not already done a simple way to get your neighbours on board is to make up a flyer about Willow Tree Rise Neighbourhood Watch., including the above links and asking people to text you their name, house number and mobile number so you can add them to the WhatsApp group. I’ve copied in Amanda Anderson, Resilient Communities Coordinator, Dorset Police. Look forward to hearing from you.
