CAN YOU HELP OUR ARMITAGE COLLEAGUES?

We’re investigating a robbery at Boots Pharmacy in Armitage and we’re looking to speak to anyone with any information that may be able to help.

The incident was reported to us at about 4.20pm on Saturday (8 August). Two masked men went into the shop and locked the door behind them before asking the staff for keys to the till.

The suspects left on foot down New Road, towards Old Road.

One of the suspects was described as wearing a balaclava and a black top. The second suspect was described as wearing a grey tracksuit, a high-visibility jacket and a medical style face mask. They were both wearing gloves.

We believe a third suspect was waiting outside the store. He also left with the other two suspects on foot. He is described as black, around 5ft 6ins tall with a large build and short black hair. He was wearing a white or cream linen shirt and black trousers.

No customers were inside at the time of the robbery.
