DRINK DRIVER ARRESTED

On 11/08/2026 at around 01:25 officers stopped a white Mercedes Vito van on Ventura Park Road due to their manner of driving.

Upon stopping the vehicle, it soon became apparent that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.

The 43-year-old male driver, from Tamworth, was arrested for driving whilst unfit through drink and provided a positive breath sample in custody.

He has since been released on bail and is due in court next month.
