Here’s a quick update on drugs dealing crime in your area, please be reassured that we’re taking this seriously and are here to help. Good afternoon
I just wanted to share some recent results by our fantastic Proactive teams who have been supporting us in regards to drug supply concerns raised by community members in the local areas of the Oval Ward
On the 30/07/2026 a male has been arrested on the Wyvil Estate SW8 for drug supply after he was found with multiple bags of white powder suspected to be cocaine
On the 04/08/2026 another male has been arrested in South Lambeth Road for Class A drug supply after being discovered with multiple wraps of suspected Class A drugs on him. A further search at an address he was linked to in our ward recovered a large bar of suspected Class A drugs and multiple snapbags recovered hidden inside of it. This male was charged for drug supply offences and remains remanded in custody where he awaits sentencing
And lastly just off our ward, another male in the past week was arrested in the Vauxhall transport hub for Class A drug supply which was supported by our community intelligence. This male has also been charged for drug supply offences, remanded in custody and also awaits sentencing
We continue to build up information on the networks supplying drugs both inside our ward and surrounding areas. These networks are being actively targeted by both ourselves and our Police colleagues.
