APPEAL FOLLOWING BAG STOLEN IN RUGELEY TOWN CENTRE

Earlier today, between 14:00 and 14:30, a theft occurred outside Peak Health, Market Square, Rugeley. A member of the public reported to S/Sgt Kevin Lee that their backpack had been stolen while they were working on nearby scaffolding.

The stolen bag is black with red handles and contains two highly personal items:

- An Apple Watch  

- A silver chain with a cross containing the ashes of the victim’s deceased father

The loss of these sentimental items has caused the victim significant distress.
