Foot patrol (10/08/2026)

All of the Parkside beat was patrolled today, with Rick and Lee also extending their coverage to Central Park (5.27 miles).

Calling by the May and Baker Social Club first thing to introduce themselves to kids at a summer sports camp, Parkside's Hooks Hall Drive (10.26am) was next.

From there, the likes of Birch Gardens, Park Drive (10.35am, p), Grove Gardens (10.51am) and Highland Avenue were covered. Bell Farm Avenue, Hardie Road (11.02am), Eastbrook Close, Macdonald Avenue and Woodshire Road (11.31am) were also patrolled, along with Luke Allsopp Square (11.44am, p).

Over a mile of Central Park (12.05pm, p) and neighbouring Fels Field was also completed as part of the team's open space ASB and 'firewatch' commitments this summer.
