Local Drug dealing / Drug use Update & ASB

Here’s a quick update on drugs dealing crime in your area, please be reassured that we’re taking this seriously and are here to help.

Today Police Officers from Brockley & Telegraph Hill spotted a Wanted male cycling along NEW CROSS ROAD. He was chased and detained where he will be returned to Prison to serve the rest of his sentence. The male is a prolific thief who targets businesses in the local area. Shortly after the teams PCSO's sighted another Wanted offender. They gave chase and detained him allowing officers from the local Response Team to come and make the arrest. Another great bit of proactive policing from the teams to help keep the Wards safe.

Drug dealing is often linked with violent crime and the exploitation of vulnerable people, and discarded drug equipment can be a health risk and counts as antisocial behaviour.  

We’ve put hundreds more officers on the frontlines of community crime-fighting teams, upping visible patrols in the right ‘hot spots’ so we can deter and catch criminals.
