Perry Barr Neighbourhood update – 25/07/2026 until 05/08/2026 Welcome to this week’s crime and community update for the Perry Barr area. Our neighbourhood team remains committed to tackling key crime issues affecting residents, especially around domestic abuse, robbery, burglary, and vehicle crime. We also continue to engage with schools and local partners to provide early intervention and support. 🛑 Crime Updates
Attepmt Burglary:
Vehicle Crime Theft of a motor vehicle. ➡️ Key-less entry theft remains a concern. Please use Faraday pouches, remove visible items, and consider physical deterrents like steering wheel locks.

Team Highlights:
26/07/2026 -Team attended and helped support Simmerdown in Handsworth Park.
29/07/2026 -PC Manns spent some time with the participants of the summer HAF programme being hosted at PAHS. As part of the engagement and enrichment session, SIPO discussed made/adapted weapons and street drugs.
28/07/2026 – Officers attended the Sikh Association Event at Hamstead Pavilions. Officers have seized numerous vehicles for No Tax, No Insurance and issued Fixed Penalty tickets for pavement parking.
