Witness appeal following a robbery - Downs Barn |

Hello Resident We are appealing for information following a robbery in the Downs Park area whereby a mobile phone was stolen. The incident occurred at around 21:30 hours on Saturday 8th August, 2026 on an over bridge between Campbell Park and Downs Barn (closer to the Downs Barn side). The offenders' are described as two young black males, dressed in dark clothing, with one of the offenders' wearing a balaclava. Investigating officer, Detective Constable Meechan, based at Milton Keynes Police Station, said; “We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, has CCTV, seen males matching the description running away or may know who they are, to please come forward. "If you have any information around this incident, please contact the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting reference 43260410855 or online. “If you do not want to talk to the police, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
Please note: we are aware of a problem arising in this area in relation to robberies and are doing our best to investigate. Whilst we are doing so, please remain vigilant and where possible, avoid walking alone, particularly during hours of darkness or in isolated locations. Use well-lit, busy routes and avoid shortcuts through parks, alleyways, or poorly lit areas. | ||
