Good afternoon all, Following concerns raised by residents regarding road safety and traffic-related offences in the area, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team and Specialist Operations have taken positive action against a dangerous driver who was reaching speeds of up to 100mph on Kingsway.

 Working together, officers identified a vehicle being driven in a dangerous manner and carried out a pursuit, resulting in the driver being safely arrested.

 This enforcement activity is a direct response to the feedback we have received from the community about traffic concerns and the impact dangerous driving has on local residents.

 We want to thank everyone who continues to report issues to us. Your information helps us target our resources where they are needed most and take action against those who put others at risk.
