What You See Matters |
||
|
Neighbourhood policing isn't just about what officers see while out on patrol. You may notice something that happens regularly, recognise a pattern, or have information about an issue affecting your street that we haven't seen ourselves. Your information can help us understand the bigger picture and work with the right partners to make Chelsfield Ward safer. For example, residents have recently been contacting us with concerns regarding males wearing balaclavas whilst riding e-bikes and mopeds in the area. We are working closely with neighbouring Safer Neighbourhood Teams to tackle this issue and identify those responsible. This is a pattern that is being reported across Bromley Borough and it is likely that many of the offenders are travelling between wards rather than being local to Chelsfield. The good news is that, through proactive patrols and partnership working, a number of stolen mopeds have been recovered across the borough over the past few months. We would encourage residents to continue reporting any suspicious activity, as the information provided helps us build intelligence and direct patrols to the areas where they are most needed.
