✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

Here’s a quick round up for you from the St Matthew's Team 2 Walsall.

Officers from St Matthews Neighbourhood have conducted crime prevention advice surgeries at Boots, Santander Bank and & Austin House in the Walsall area. These surgeries have been a great way for the local community to meet and greet the neighbourhood team whilst being able to come away with the right information and tools around crime prevention.

Officers have also conducted a street watch with the local community in the Caldmore area due to reports of general ASB nuisance.

The team have carried out ASB patrols around Walsall Arboretum and continuing their patrols in the Caldmore area where members of the public are continuing to park on Zig Zags, causing an obstruction, with traffic offences tickets will been issued. These patrols play an important part in keeping the community safe and reassured.

Officers have also arrested one male offender for a burglary offence in the St Matthews area.

We are continuing our patrols in areas where we are receiving reports of ASB, this includes some of the communal areas at block of flats & the Town Centre.

• High visibility patrols have been conducted by our PCSO's who will continue to carry out daily patrols in the town centre providing visibility and reassurance for anyone working in or visiting the Town centre.
