Cycle Theft Has Increased Locally - Help Protect Your Bike!

We have seen an increase in cycle theft across the ward, and we're encouraging all cyclists to take a few simple steps to help keep their bikes safe.

Always use a good quality D-lock or Sold Secure approved lock.

Lock your bike to a fixed, secure object.

Secure both the frame and wheels whenever possible.

Avoid leaving your bike unattended in isolated areas.

Record your bike's frame number and keep photographs of your bicycle.

To help protect your bike and deter thieves, your local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be at Park Fest, Sunny day Sunday offering FREE bike marking.

Alongside free bike marking, Park Fest will feature:
