Local Burglary Message

Here’s an update on burglary locally.

Safer Neighbourhood Officers were conducting proactive patrol when they identified one of South East London's most wanted offenders. Following a foot chase through the River Quaggy and several residential gardens, officers successfully detained the suspect. The offender was wanted for multiple offences, including residential burglary and commercial robbery involving the use of a knife.

A great result by the team in removing a high-harm offender from our streets.

Across London, we’re now arresting more than 1,000 extra criminals every month and seeing local crimes like burglary, robbery and theft start to fall, with ‘neighbourhood crime’ down 14%.
