⚠️ Crackdown on Illegal Off-Road Bikes Continues

Today, while out on patrol, officers have been proactively targeting the illegal use of off-road bikes and Surron-style electric bikes within our communities.

As a result of our patrols, we identified a rider using a Surron bike illegally in Seamer. The bike was subsequently seized after being sighted being ridden on public roads within the village.

The illegal use of off-road bikes and Surrons can cause significant anti-social behaviour concerns, pose a danger to other road users, and create nuisance within our neighbourhoods.

We will continue to carry out targeted patrols and take robust action against anyone riding off-road bikes or Surron-style electric bikes illegally on our roads, footpaths, parks, and public spaces.
