Dear Resident, Following reports from local residents in Agbrigg regarding vehicles being parked too close to junctions, causing an obstruction and creating a danger to other road users, officers from the Rural NPT conducted patrols in the area.
Offending vehicles were identified, and appropriate action was taken, including issuing parking warnings and engaging with vehicle owners where possible. These patrols will continue, and further enforcement action may be taken against drivers who park irresponsibly and put others at risk.
We have also received a number of reports from residents regarding an increase in untaxed vehicles being parked on local roads, so, earlier this week, officers carried out patrols in the area. A number of warning notices were placed on windscreens, and details were submitted to the DVLA for further enforcement action.
