DRIVER ARRESTED IN RUGELEY

Good evening,

Last night, officers arrested a driver on suspicion of Section 4 Road Traffic Act (driving whilst unfit through drink) and failing to provide a breath sample.  

The driver was stopped following concerns about their manner of driving. After refusing to provide an evidential breath sample when required, they were taken into custody where they will be interviewed and processed in accordance with legal procedures.

Drink driving is a serious offence that puts lives at risk. We urge all motorists to make responsible choices and help keep Staffordshire’s roads safe.
