Here’s a quick update on anti-social behaviour locally. We know it can be distressing, but we’re working closely with partners to make the area safer and support residents.
Good afternoon Shepherd's bush green
July has been a rather busy month on the green over 40 people were arrested. The offences ranged from assault to possession of drugs, Theft and warrants being executed by your local Shepherd's bush ward officers.
As well as the arrests stop and searchers have been happening as well with over 50 stop and searches.

Our ward officers have also been hard at work trying to find the necessary routes to take on helping a group of homeless people who were sleeping outside the O2 then moved onto the green. Ward officers wanted to try and allow these people get into some sort of sheltered housing before being moved off the green so they would be in a safer environment. After deliberating with local charities, councils and organisations there was an action day on the green and the people were offered help and then subsequently moved off the green.
Telling not reporting
Not everyone who experiences sexual violence is ready to report it and that’s okay.
‘Telling, not reporting’ allows you to share what happened without making a formal report or triggering further action, unless you choose to.
This approach prioritises your choice, dignity and control while keeping support available when and if someone is ready.
If you contact us, simply say you’d like to tell us what happened but not make a report or be contacted afterwards. We will respect your wishes.
