Do You Suspect A Cannabis Farm in Your Street? |
||
|
Good Afternoon Residents,
Do you suspect a cannabis grow in your neighbourhood?
🔍 Key Warning Signs
If you suspect a property is being used as a "grow house," look for these common indicators:- · Strong Odours: A persistent, sweet, or sickly pungent smell, especially in the final weeks of the three-month growth cycle. · Covered Windows: Curtains, blinds, or shutters remain permanently closed, even in daylight, or windows are boarded up/covered in foil. · High Condensation: Windows may be constantly misted or have heavy condensation, even during summer, as plants require a greenhouse-like environment. · Heat Indicators: In winter, a lack of snow on the roof when neighbouring houses are covered, or heat radiating from adjoining walls and lofts. · Unusual Activity: Frequent visitors at odd hours, or occupants who are rarely seen except when bringing in soil, fertiliser, or ventilation equipment. · Electrical Red Flags: A constant buzzing noise from fans, or evidence of tampered wiring and cables running into streetlights or bypassed meters.
📞 How to Report Safely Do not attempt to enter a suspected property yourself, as they often have excessive security and can be dangerous. · Non-Emergency: Call 101 or use the West Midlands Police Live Chat. · Anonymous: Contact Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111
Stay Safe.
Many Thanks
