Burglary Near You - Upper Piccadilly

Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred at York House Upper Piccadilly, this occurred between 1830hrs on 2nd August and 3rd August at 1000hrs. The method of attack was by gaining entry through and open/broken downstairs window.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between 2nd August 1830hrs - 3rd August 1000hrs to check if you had any activations.

If you witnessed anything suspicious, have CCTV, doorbell footage, or any information that may assist enquiries, please contact West Yorkshire Police via 101 or report online. In an emergency, always dial 999.

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
