WANTED: Kieran Stonier, 26, from Winchester

Have you seen Kieran Stonier?

The 26-year-old is wanted in connection with a theft from a shop and escaping lawful custody.

At around midday on Tuesday 14 July, an off-duty officer was driving in Springvale Road, Kings Worthy, when he noticed a man carrying a basket of goods, with two employees from the nearby Tesco walking at pace behind him.

The officer got out of his car, identified himself as a police officer, and attempted to restrain the man. While an arrest was made, the man was able to break free and ran away from the officer.

We would like to speak to Kieran Stonier in connection with this incident, as well as seven other shoplifting investigations.

Officers have been making enquiries since this incident took place, and we are now asking for help from the public.

Stonier is from Winchester but also has links to Bournemouth in Dorset. 

He is described as white, of slim build, around 6ft 3ins tall, with blonde/sandy hair.
