'Firewatch' patrols and Parish Fields were included on Rick's 5-hour outing of the ward this afternoon, along with a game of 'Guess What I Want To Be When I'm Older' with children on the Parkside beat (8.44 miles). Calling by the May and Baker Social Club first thing, children attending a 4 week sports camp set up by Dagenham and Redbridge (Football Club) Community Trust were spoken to.
From there, 3.24 miles of the Eastbrookend Country Park (4.21pm) and Nature Reserve (p) was covered as part of a fire safety initiative to deter wildfires.
Rick arrived in Parish Field's Foxglove Road (5.37pm) via Footpath 18, going on to visit every street on the former hospital site, including Fuchsia Close (6.03pm, p)
Great Cullings (6.30pm), Eastbrook Drive and Fels Farm Mews followed, before arriving in Woodshire Road (7.15pm) via Fels Field and Central Park.
Tony Rawson Way, Fir Tree Walk (7.49pm) and Fels Farm Avenue were also covered late on.
